Strong literacy skills are the foundation for success in every subject. Whether students are reading a science textbook, writing a persuasive essay, solving a word problem, or sharing their ideas, confidence with language opens doors to learning.

Write On! Literacy Lab is a small-group program designed to strengthen the essential literacy skills every learner needs.

What is Literacy Lab?

Literacy Lab is a focused, small-group learning experience that helps students build confidence and competence in the core areas of literacy through engaging, hands-on instruction.

Each session is designed to help students grow as readers, writers, and communicators by developing skills in:

• Reading comprehension
• Grammar and language conventions
• Vocabulary development
• Writing skills
• Critical thinking
• Communication

Rather than relying on worksheets and memorization alone, students actively engage with language through meaningful reading, writing, discussion, games, and collaborative learning.

Who is Literacy Lab for?

Literacy Lab is designed for elementary learners who would benefit from additional literacy instruction in a supportive, encouraging environment.

The program is ideal for:

• Homeschool students seeking structured literacy instruction
• Students attending public or private schools who want additional enrichment
• Learners who need extra practice building foundational literacy skills
• Students who enjoy reading, writing, and creative learning

Our small class sizes allow instructors to provide individualized support while fostering collaboration and confidence.

When does Literacy Lab meet?

Literacy Lab is offered on:

Mondays and Fridays 
9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Writers can attend one or both Literacy Lab days.
